History and Statistics Prove Gun Bans and Gun Control are Dangerous

History and Statistics Prove That Gun Bans and Gun Control Legislation are Dangerous to Freedom & Liberty.

What happened at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Connecticut on the morning of December 14 is tragic.   I can not imagine the overwhelming pain and sense of loss felt by the parents, friends, family members & loved ones of those who lost their lives.

Had I my self been one of them, I don't know what I would do, but I certainly would be devastated and in deep anguish, however, my emotions would never be enough to convince me that more restrictions on gun ownership, further gun control measures and gun bans are the answer to preventing such tragedies as this from ever happening again.

It is pitiful that those on the left thinking side of the political spectrum are using this horrific event to advance their anti-gun agenda to disarm the American people.  From modern liberal Americans, to foreign anti-Americans, to media scum and celebrity trash and traitorous politicians, they're all screaming for gun bans and more gun control laws, and it is SICKENING, because their calls are exactly what the powers that be have wanted all along.

Problem - Reaction - Solution.

The Newtown shooting is these scumbags wet dream, and their jizzing in their pants in glory over this, because it gives them exactly what they have wanted for quite some time, particularly that scumbag traitor, Senator Dianne Feinstein, who has had a hard on for banning guns her entire treasonous political career.

I find it extremely ironic that these modern liberals, the sort that often cry about their self claimed right to murder their own unborn children, can cry about murdered children and use it as another tool for preaching their anti-gun squabble.

I find it very problematic that these modern liberal swine, the kind that piss and moan about gay marriage and other social causes they deem their right, can actually piss and moan about their rights, yet simultaneously demand the rights of others be taken away.

The second amendment is not about hunting, nor sporting or recreation, but a profound and inalienable right, of we the people to defend ourselves against enemies, both foreign and domestic, to protect our freedom and liberty, against any government or standing armies who would attempt to over power us with tyrannical goals.    Modern liberals and many other people have very short memories, and forget history, that in EVERY INSTANCE of tyranny, that the people were disarmed before it happened.  WWII Germany is just ONE example of such.  Prior to the holocaust, Hitler enacted gun control laws, which enabled him and those in power to commit atrocities against the Jewish people and others in Germany.   This is just one example of MANY, yet, these clueless vermin hold the idea that our government would not or could not ever do no such thing even when all the signs are there to confirm and validate the thought that, YES IT CAN happen.

These united states of America are virtually under near complete and total surveillance, much like the police state of the United Kingdom, so much so that it makes the former German Democratic Republic look like Utopia and is already far worse than the Ministerium für Staatssicherheit ever was.   Our Department of Homeland Security, with its various multitude of subsidiaries that include the Transportation Security Administration, are horrifically similar to, perhaps even more dangerous than Hitler's Geheime Staatspolizei.

Hitler had the Reichstag fire which gave him the Enabling Act of 1933.  Eerily similar, if not nearly identical "coincidence", we the people of these united states had September 11, 2001, followed by the Patriot Act..  So, the very idea of "trusting" our government to not ever become one of tyranny is troubling.   If history teaches us anything, it is to NEVER trust governments nor those in power.   It is solely the second amendment that gives us, the people, the power, to ensure that our government can never oppress us.

Gun control laws are NOT to protect citizens, nor to prevent crime or save lives, but to protect those in power.  Gun control is a measure of governments and those in power seeking to RULE OVER subjects with ABSOLUTE POWER.   Our government is not one of absolute power, because it is WE THE PEOPLE who had the power, and little by little, our government has been stripping away our freedoms and liberties, giving themselves more authority and power, and when they come for the guns, rest assured that every last bit of freedom thereafter CAN be taken away.

Before you agree with, or support more gun control and gun bans, THINK TWICE about it, because it is potentially with DIRE CONSEQUENCES.

Uneducated morons like Piers Morgan, Michael Moore & Dianne Feinstein believe that a ban on "assault weapons" would prevent tragedies like the Sandy Hook Massacre from ever happening again, however, what they fail to realize is, similar events in the past, notably the shooting massacre at Columbine High, still occurred even though there was an assault weapons ban in effect at the time.  Matter of fact, there were FAR MORE INCIDENTS during said ban.

The FBI statistics on crime show that less than a fraction of a percent of violent crimes are committed with "assault weapons".

Why do you need a gun?

The usual road to slavery is that first they take away your guns, then they take away your property, then last of all they tell you to shut up and say you are enjoying it. – James A. Donald

After a shooting spree, they always want to take the guns away from the people who didn't do it. I sure as hell wouldn't want to live in a society where the only people allowed guns are the police and the military. – William S. Burroughs

When they took the 4th Amendment, I was quiet because I didn't deal drugs.
When they took the 6th Amendment, I was quiet because I am innocent.
When they took the 2nd Amendment, I was quiet because I don't own a gun.
Now they have taken the 1st Amendment, and I can only be quiet.
– Lyle Myhr

Armed people are free. No state can control those who have the machinery and the will to resist, no mob can take their liberty and property. And no 220-pound thug can threaten the well-being or dignity of a 110-pound woman who has two pounds of iron to even things out … People who object to weapons aren't abolishing violence, they're begging for rule by brute force, when the biggest, strongest animals among men were always automatically right. Guns ended that, and a social democracy is a hollow farce without an armed populace to make it work. – L. Neil Smith (from The Probability Broach)

The police can't stop an intruder, mugger, or stalker from hurting you. They can pursue him only after he has hurt or killed you. Protecting yourself from harm is your responsibility, and you are far less likely to be hurt in a neighborhood of gun owners than in one of disarmed citizens – even if you don't own a gun yourself. – Harry Browne

To disarm the people is the best and most effectual way to enslave them. – George Mason

We should not forget that the spark which ignited the American Revolution was caused by the British attempt to confiscate the firearms of the colonists. - Patrick Henry

More Second Amendment quotes.

Before I end this post, I would also like to add that any bans on high capacity magazines will NOT reduce violent crime, because one, statistics show that high cap mags are rarely ever used in crimes, and two, the difference between a high capacity magazine and a standard 10 round magazine is less than 1/2 a second to reload another magazine.

Finally, in closing, I'd like to share these truths and facts on guns and crime, from the FBI & Cato Institute.
The Honest Truth About Guns
From the Bastiat Institute;

To see a policy based entirely on emotion, look at the now defunct "assault weapons" ban. What makes a weapon an "assault weapon" vs. a rifle? Often cosmetic irrelevancies, like a pistol grip or a bayonet!

So let's get practical. What would actually minimize tragedies like the one in Newtown?

1. Allow teachers with concealed carry permits to carry those weapons when in school, just as they are allowed to carry everywhere else. This way, a potential attacker will have no idea what kind of resistance he will face.

2. As a suggestion, but not a requirement: recommend that schools have a few guns locked in handprint safes. These can only be opened with fingerprint matching, so no one but the correct teacher/administrator/security guard can access them.

3. As another suggestion (thanks to Alex Wood): Just as planes started locking their cockpits after 9/11, schools may consider locking their doors. This is currently done in Nashville.

Remember the last big policy passed based on an emotional response to a tragedy? It gave us the Department of Homeland Security, the TSA, two wars that have lasted over 10 years, trillions spent, and tens of thousands of lives lost. Let's not do that again.

Since bin Laden's Death

Since bin Laden’s Death

The War on Terror and its various civil liberties assaults have escalated, not been reversed or even slowed down

In the wake of Osama bin Laden’s summary execution one year ago, many predicted that the War on Terror would finally begin to recede. Here’s what has happened since then:
Osama Bin Laden
  • With large bipartisan majorities, Congress renewed the once-controversial Patriot Act without a single reform, and it was signed into law by President Obama; Harry Reid accused those urging reforms of putting the country at risk of a Terrorist attack.
  • For the first time, perhaps ever, a U.S. citizen was assassinated by the CIA, on orders from the President, without a shred of due process and far from any battlefield; two weeks later, his 16-year-old American son was also killed by his own government; the U.S. Attorney General then gave a speech claiming the President has the power to target U.S. citizens for death based on unproven, secret accusations of Terrorism.
  • With large bipartisan majorities, Congress enacted, and the President signed, a new law codifying presidential powers of worldwide indefinite detention and an expanded statutory defintion of the War on Terror.
  • Construction neared completion for a sprawling new site in Utah for the National Security Agency to enable massive domestic surveillance and to achieve “the realization of the ‘total information awareness’ program created during the first term of the Bush administration.”
  • President Obama authorized the use of “signature” drone strikes in Yemen, whereby the CIA can target people for death “even when the identity of those who could be killed is not known.”
  • The U.S. formally expanded its drone attacks in Somalia, “reopening a base for the unmanned aircraft on the island nation of Seychelles.”
  • A U.S. drone killed 16-year-old Pakistani Tariq Aziz, along with his 12-year-old cousin, Waheed, three days after the older boy attended a meeting to protest civilian deaths from U.S. drones (another of Tariq’s cousins had been killed in 2010).
  • NATO airstrikes continued to extinguish the lives of Afghan children; in just the last 24 hours, 5 more Afghan children were killed by the ongoing war.
  • The FBI increased its aggressive attempts to recruit young Muslim-American males into Terror plots which the FBI concocts, funds, encourages, directs and enables, while prosecuting more and more Muslims in the U.S. for crimes grounded in their political views and speech.
Does it sound like the War on Terror and its accompanying civil liberties erosions are ending, or going in the opposite direction? The morning after the bin Laden killing, I wrote that the killing of bin Laden would likely re-ignite American excitement over militarism and would thus likely further fuel, rather than retard, the War and its various implications. As always: combatting Terrorism is not the end of the War on Terror; the War on Terror is the end in itself, and Terrorism is merely its pretext.

Anniversary of Osama Bin Laden's Death - Obama did NOT Give the Orders

OBAMA IS A LIAR! He did NOT issue the order to kill Osama Bin Laden. Leon Panetta did: Obama hesitated and refused to give the order and was OVER RULED by military intelligence officials led by Leon Panetta, Hillary Clinton, Robert Gates, David Patraeus & Jim Clapper. [ Source ]

Barack Obama is a HYPOCRITE to say Romney wouldn't give the order, because Obama himself didn't even give the order.

Nevertheless, both Romney and Obama are lying scumbags, both of which would institute more tyrannical legislation to strip us of our rights, freedoms and liberties.

Is America Becoming a Police State?

Is America Becoming a Police State?

Police State America
America is becoming a police state.

The priorities and concerns of the average American citizen are severely fucked up.  We live in an era where the U.S military can be used against American citizens in the "homeland", and detain them indefinitely without any charges and deny them any judicial process of law. They can even kill citizens as they see fit, without any judicial ruling or oversight.  Our President sends our troops to war without any congressional declarations of war and without any vote whatsoever from congress, house or senate, exerting dictatorship like powers, circumventing constitutional authority, and bypassing American law.

Our currency is deliberately devalued, our government bails out banks including foreign ones, government spending is at an all time record high, and our government is in debt over 15.5 trillion dollars.  Unemployment is at an all time high, and American's have sacrificed virtually all personal liberties all for the sake of "security" from "terrorists".  No resistance whatsoever was given by the American people when they watched these things happening, yet, when our government threatens to take away torrents, memes and free movies, everyone goes fucking apeshit.

The government of The United States of America is swiftly becoming a system where the state recognizes no limits to its authority and strives to regulate every aspect of public and private life wherever feasible, yet, the American people are blind to this fact, ignoring the signs, because they suffer cognitive dissonance due to a lifelong process of conditioning to the illusion that we are "free".  They cling to the false belief that the government would never do no evil to them, much like the Jewish people of 1930s Germany did.

America is rapidly becoming a police state, and we the people continue to do NOTHING.  At some point, it'll be too late to do anything about it.

"...'Is America a Police State?' My answer is: 'Maybe not yet, but it is fast approaching.'"
- Ron Paul. June 27, 2002
