Chica Plush from The Sunny Side Up Show on Sprout is Here

Chica Plush from The Sunny Side Up Show on Sprout is Here

A few days ago I wrote a post here about the Chica Plush Toy becoming available again, this after being long sold out due to unscrupulous and shady resellers buying all the Chica Plush up at their original price of $14.99 only to resell them on ePay and Amazon for anywhere from $69 to $300.

Now they are available again for as low as $18 and since I wrote about ordering the Chica Plush for my daughter, I decided to write about it again because Chica showed up in the mail today, and considering, GOOD LUCK to the SCAMMER malonimom on Amazon who thinks he or she is gonna get $300 for a Chica Plush now available for $18, LOL .

This Chica Plush toy by Fiesta Toys is the real deal, complete with squeak and official tag with Chica and the Sprout logo from

Originally, I thought perhaps it might be some sort of cheap knockoff or copy, however, this was not the case. This is the REAL CHICA PLUSH TOY and my daughter is THRILLED.

She wanted me to take photos of her with her new Chica Plush, but I'm kinda wary about posting her photo here on this blog, so, I blocked out her face so I can show off the Chica Plush I ordered from Amazon, from seller Gifts From a Distance.   It was shipped out immediately and arrived via first class mail only a few days after.  The photo is linked to the full size hi-res photo so you can see the detail.  If you're looking to buy the Chica Plush Toy from the Sunny Side Up Show on Sprout, please use the links within this post to purchase it on Amazon as I earn a 4% commission on any sales generated.  Thank you.

Sprout Chica Plush Toy. My Daughter is Going to Be SO HAPPY!

Sprout Chica Plush Toy. My Daughter is Going to Be SO HAPPY!

Chica Sprout
Awhile back I wrote about Getting Raped by Scamazon Sellers for Chica Sprout Plush Stuffed Toy, so, as a result of that post I was pretty much accustomed to getting internet traffic from people looking for the popular Chica doll at an affordable price since it was sold out due to the shady scumbag resellers buying them all up only to resell them for as much as $300 on Amazon as well as on eBay, etc.

Today however, I noticed an increased amount of traffic from visitors looking for the Chica Sprout Plush Toy, so, I decided to check and see if any new Chica Sprout toys have been produced and I am ECSTATIC that a Chica Plush Toy has been produced by Fiesta Toys, available on Amazon for only $17, and lucky for me I still have $21 remaining on my Amazon Gift Card, so, I immediately bought the Chica Sprout Plush Toy for my six year old daughter who loves Chica so much.

She is graduating kindergarten next Friday, so, this will be a great surprise gift for her, and I KNOW she will be thrilled to have Chica in her arms.  She's gonna be so happy, and I am happy to finally get one for her. :)

Note 6/11/2012.  Chica Plush arrived in the mail today, purchased from the seller linked in the post above and my little girl is ECSTATIC.  It's the real Chica Sprout, and squeeks too. :)

The Best Fun for the Family is Free Fun

The Best Fun for the Family is Free Fun

An Adventure at Clipper City Rail Trail.

Clipper City Rail Trail, Newburyport, Massachusetts
As a parent, I am constantly on the lookout for fun things to do with my daughter, and to be frank, sometimes things just cost way too much, and considering my financial distress, money is tight, therefore, can not be spent on leisure or entertainment.

My daughter, like her dad, is an explorer and an adventurer who loves to learn new things and see new places and things, so, I'm always on the hunt for interesting places to take her for some fun as well as for education, and since I am often broke,  I look for fun things to do that are free, or things we can do together that are very inexpensive.

On Saturday morning, as usual, my daughter stated that she was bored, something she says quite often, so, knowing that she loves riding on the trains, I decided to see what was around that we could do for free that was conveniently located near any of our local MBTA commuter rail stations and that's when I discovered the Clipper City Rail Trail in Newburyport, Massachusetts.

The Clipper City Rail Trail begins just across the street from the Newburyport MBTA commuter rail station and ends at the Merrimac River and downtown Newburyport is just a short block away for strolling through Newburyport's old New England downtown for eating, entertainment and shopping, although to do these three things, one must have tons of cash, because Newburyport is excessively expensive.

The Clipper City Rail Trail is paved and is 1.1 miles long, offering beautiful scenery, nature, art and fun, all for free. My daughter and I had a great time as my friend and I walked as she roller skated up and down the pathway.  We stopped at all the various public art and sculptures, took tons of photographs, smelled the flowers, and even spent a little while sitting in the sun on a nice bench with a beautiful view.

There are a few additional paths on this trail we haven't explored, so, knowing how much my little one enjoyed it, we will go again, because after showing my wife the photos, she too is interested in going.   I am also hoping to make a group thing of it and invite along several friends for a free fun filled day they can bring their kids to.

The photographs to the left are just a small sample of what Clipper City Rail Trail has to offer as well as being only a fraction of the photos I took that day.

If you're interested in knowing more about Clipper City Rail Trail, the City of Newburyport has a page on their website with details and information on the Clipper City Rail Trail as well as several photographs.

Next time I go, I'll be sure to have some cash on me so we can enjoy an ice cream cone from Haylees Ice Cream which is close to the entrance of the trail, and they have outdoor seating, or, you can head back to the trail and sit on the benches made out of hay bales.

Summer is right around the corner and knowing how easily my daughter gets bored, I'll be looking out for more fun and exciting things to do that are free, or very cheap, because $100+ days of fun are way out of my damn budget.   Everything is so damn expensive these days.

Getting Raped by Scamazon Sellers for Chica Sprout Plush

Getting Raped by Scamazon Sellers for Chica Sprout Plush Stuffed Toy

Chica Sprout Plush Toy
Chica Plush from the PBS Sprout Sunnyside up Show

My five year old daughter is turning six this weekend.  Her favorite show to watch on TV is PBS Sprout Sunnyside Up Show.  She loves Chica.  Yesterday afternoon, she comes running into my office to tell me that for her birthday present, she wants the Chica Plush toy from Sprout.  I decided to look it up to see where it was sold and was shocked at the $49.99 price tag on Amazon.  I decided to look elsewhere and the only other place I found it was on eBay, for $47.99 shipped.

I decided that the price is just too damn high for a little stuffed animal, and told my daughter that it's just too expensive.  This morning however, considering that I have a $30 Amazon Gift Card that's been sitting unspent for the past several months, I decided to log on to Amazon to purchase the Chica Plush toy for my daughter seeing as it would only cost me an additional $20 from my credit card, but, I was disappointed to find out that the seller RAISED THE PRICE an additional $10 and that it's now $59.99.  These mother fuckers are raping people.  I learned from Sprout's Facebook Page that the Chica Plush toy was available for $14.99 and that these scamming toy resellers on Amazon and eBay bought them all up, causing the item to appear sold out, and then they relisted them at $59.99 up to $69.99 for the Christmas shopping frenzy.

I am pissed about this, because I want to make my daughter happy, and I want her to have the Chica stuffed toy, because she loves Chica, and I love my daughter, but damn, this is just too much money to spend on a little stuffed animal and I am poor.  The damn nerve of these scumbag resellers and their dirty scams.  One of the sellers even uses the name Kings Ransom, which is pretty much a clear indication that he's mocking buyers, flaunting the fact that he's a scammer with excessively high rip off prices.  The damn nerve of these scammers to resell the Chica stuffed toy at such excessively rip off prices.
